Since the first time two cavemen were throwing a rock back and forth, and one of them decided to put his hand up and catch it instead of letting it hit him in the face, there has never been a better catch than the one Alabama's Tyrone Prothro made against Southern Miss last Saturday.

We have reached the pinnacle of the art of catching things. I'm only glad that it happened during my lifetime.
I just want to say that I was at Jeremy and Jodi's house on Sunday afternoon, and I sure did watch that catch about 7 times, and at least twice, maybe three times, I definitely heard about the "greatest catch in the history of catching things" -- and, I confess, I was impressed, even though I didn't think there was anyway it could live up to the hype they'd given it.
